Kitchen Countertop Trends: The Waterfall Edge
Looking to install some new countertops, or wondering about stone intallation? You’re in luck! One of our favorite tile and stone installers/distributors, European Marble and Granite, has written a post for us today on current kitchen countertop trends! Here’s what they have to say, along with some great pictures of some beautiful countertops (see links below for more info!):
One of our favorite kitchen countertop trends right now is what we call the Waterfall Edge, also known as Risers. This is when the countertop continues vertically down the side of the cabinet to the floor.
The Waterfall edge is a great way to show off an exotic and unique stone.
When using quartz it gives any kitchen a sleek and modern look.
Be sure to use an experienced and reputable fabricator when using the Waterfall edge. It is a difficult design element to fabricate and definitely requires skill and experience.
