We’re starting what we like to call “Trendy Thursday” this week. Every Thursday, we’ll post a home trend that we’ve observed and share it with you all. This week, we’d like to talk a little bit about using geometric patterns in your home. Chevron has been loved by many for a very long time, but now we’re seeing more and more geometric patterns pop up as well. Particularly, we’re seeing herringbone, triangle, and honeycomb shapes.
We love herringbone floors, and apparently so do many homeowners today too. Here are a few of our favorites:
Triangles are a newer trend than herringbone, and they are a great addition to your home’s decor. They have strong, defined lines that create interest for your eye. There are many ways to incorporate triangles into your home’s decor, here are just a few ideas:
3. Honeycomb shapes.
Honeycomb shapes are fun because they take their cue from bees. They are especially common in homes right now. As a cross between a circle and a square, designers love them because they automatically grab your eye when you walk into a room.
